In our efforts to present to our customers original works from Ohio area artists and craftsman, the Glasshouse Works is now making a first presentation of original works from the Garden Forge in Marietta. Ohio boasts a great number of highly talented people and I am sure that you will love the originals offered below. Betsy and Jan each produce distinctive ornamental iron accessories for the garden and home. The imagery they express through their ironwork is born from the natural surroundings at their workshop in the rolling hills of Southeastern Ohio.

Jan's interest in a myriad of art forms over the years has now culminated in her combined skill of traditional blacksmithing and welding. Her love of nature is reflected in the cast iron oak leaves and acorns which often enhance her designs.

Betsy has studied with various blacksmiths and in recent years has perfected her own style. She adds a unique dimension to her ironwork by incorporating media such as glass and wood. Her trellises, embellished with glass globes, are enchanting in any garden. The trellises have globes that are also made in Southeastern Ohio are enchanting in any garden. The nearby galleries of Glasshouse Works wants to take care of all your home and garden needs and is proudly offerings various of the the new Garden Forge creations. Many of these items are viewable at the galleries in Stewart.
